2024 Graduate

Stephanie Wilson

Stephanie Wilson grew up in Canberra with a love for literature, film, and Liza Minnelli dancing on chairs. She eventually found her way into acting when her first-grade teacher encouraged her ability to talk at all times (often unprovoked) as a pathway into performance. It’s the most wonderful gift she’s ever received and she has never looked back since. While in Canberra, Stephanie performed in several plays and musicals including, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Producers, The Laramie Project, The Who’s Tommy, and Dostoevsky’s The Idiot. She also completed a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre in 2019.

Throughout her time at ACA, Stephanie has had the absolute pleasure of performing various roles including Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest, Usher/God/Understanding in Everybody, Gabrielle York (Older) in When the Rain Stops Falling, Miranda in Simmer, Lady Capulet/Chorus in Romeo & Juliet, Virginia in Ruben Guthrie, Hamlet/Ophelia in Hamlet, Martirio in The House of Bernarda Alba (NIDAxACA), and Lyubov Ranyevskaya in The Cherry Orchard.

Stephanie has a deep connection to theatre and poetry, and a newfound love for screen performance. Following her experience at ACA, she hopes to continue honing her skills in all forms of acting, and is ecstatic to be entering the industry as a passionate and trained performer.
