Born in Orange, Ellen Peebles grew up dancing in various styles and found her love for the performing arts. After high school she pursued her passion and attended Transit Dance in Melbourne. She graduated in 2019 with a Diploma in Elite Performance (Contemporary Dance), and also received ‘Student of The Year’ for her dedication, commitment and talent. In the 2021 after watching the entirety of Game of Thrones in lockdown, her focus shifted creatively and she decided to pursue acting.
Whilst at ACA, Ellen has had the pleasure of playing Tanya in Love, Gwen in Away, Nana in Uncle Vanya, Isabella in Measure for Measure, Hermione and Mopsa in The Winter’s Tale, Ona in Simmer, Linda in Death of a Salesman, Death in Everybody and Bernadette in Stags and Hens (The Remix).
Ellen is excited to be entering the industry and delighted to be a part of Poetry in Action’s Touring Team for 2025. In tandem with this, after having successfully pitched to New Theatre for a 3-week season in January, Ellen is thrilled to reprise her role of Bernadette in Stags and Hens (The Remix) alongside the rest of her cast.
Ellen is extremely grateful for the learning experience that ACA has provided her. It has fuelled her hunger and passion for both stage and screen.
