Growing up in Sydney, Chester Lenihan was immersed in the arts from a very early age. Dancing and drumming shared the stage until the age of 13 when his musical aptitude became the forefront of his focus. After high school Chester took the long road to find his passion for storytelling. Having completed a Bachelor of Business, working various jobs, and travelling worldwide, Chester’s true calling began with ACA’s Foundation Program. He was then ecstatic to continue his training in ACA’s Bachelor of Performing Arts degree.
During his time at ACA, Chester has had the pleasure of performing the roles of Warren in This is Our Youth, Bob King in Sanctuary, Henry Law in When the Rain Stops Falling, Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard, Oberon and Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Leontes in The Winter’s Tale, Landlord & Relative in The Ham Funeral, John ‘Rooster’ Byron in Simmer, Alfieri in A View from the Bridge, and Robbie in Stags and Hens (The Remix). Chester has also thoroughly enjoyed writing original compositions and leading live band performances for various ACA productions.
Having successfully pitched to New Theatre for a 3-week season, Chester is thrilled to be entering the industry as producer and cast member in Stags and Hens (The Remix) early in the new year.
