Cameron Sutton

Cameron Sutton found a love for acting from a very young age, discovering a joy for performing after being cast as Santa Claus in his Year 6 Christmas play. Cameron joined the Hornsby Gang Show (a Scout-led musical production) in order to satisfy his need to perform and ended up working his way up to Head of Acting, requiring him to write, direct and act in multiple short comedy scenes. After leaving the Hornsby Gang Show, Cameron took a break from performing, trying to find life meaning in menial 9-5 jobs but he soon realised that performing was where this meaning would come from and auditioned for Actors Centre Australia.

During his time at ACA he was lucky enough to play the roles of Gabriel York in When the Rain Stops Falling, Astrov in Uncle Vanya, Leontes and the Clown in The Winter’s Tale, George H. Jones in Machinal, Mr Bradshaw in Simmer and Eddie Ainsworth in Stags and Hens (The Remix).

Having successfully pitched to New Theatre for a 3-week season in January, Cameron is thrilled to reprise his role of Eddie Ainsworth in Stags and Hens (The Remix) alongside the rest of his original cast.
