Bayley Elliott is a fiery and passionate multi-disciplinary artist who is trained across acting, singing, dance, directing and writing. Her love for performance was conceived during her primary school years when she started dance.
During high school she completed Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations and soon learnt she had a love for musical theatre after playing Marty Maraschino in a high school production of Grease. In 2017 she had the privilege of touring the USA with her dance studio performing at Disney World, Universal Studios and on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas. In 2019 Bayley was accepted to the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. The pandemic turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Bayley because although she didn’t travel to NYC, she realised her true passion was theatre and film. Since graduating high school her number one goal was to complete a full-time drama degree to refine and hone her craft. Now that she’s finished, she’s bursting at the seams to break into the industry.
During her time at ACA, she had the absolute privilege of playing Dympie in After Dinner, Elizabeth Law (Older) in When the Rain Stops Falling, Kate Mundy in Dancing at Lughnasa, Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, multiple roles in Machinal, Tanya in Love, and Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest. 2024 was also the year of her directorial debut. She adapted a novel for the stage as part of Simmer, which was a self-generated triptych of plays. This is the project she is the most proud of during her time at ACA.
In 2025 Bayley is delighted to be touring Australia with Poetry in Action sharing her love of language with children across the country.
Bayley is beyond excited to leave her mark on the Australian film and theatre scene and she cannot wait to see what the future holds.
