Ava McClean

Ava McClean was raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Throughout her years at ACA she has had the pleasure of working with some of the best in the industry focusing on voice, text, movement, accent, and stagecraft. She is extremely dedicated to mastering her craft and is constantly expanding her skills on stage and screen.

A self-styled “jack of all trades”, Ava has an extensive sporting background, from national champion in the rowing boat to weekend surfer, she has the ability to take on physically harsh roles and has the work ethic to match. While at ACA Ava has also furthered her skills in videography and photography, focusing on the marketing of plays and projects she has worked on. Ava has the ability to take on any challenge and bring it to life, having a love for finding the truth in the stories we tell.

At ACA, Ava has played a variety of roles including Yelena in Uncle Vanya, Anya in The Cherry Orchard, Linda in Stags and Hens, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Camillo in The Winter’s Tale, Davey in Simmer, Stuff and People in Everybody, Ketch in Our Country’s Good, Relative and Girl in The Ham Funeral, Denise in The Call and Louise in The Blind Giant is Dancing.
