Growing up on the Central Coast, NSW, Bethany began dancing at the ripe age of two. Thus began her love and interesting in performing arts. Her passion for theatre was ignited in high school, where she performed in many plays and performance nights. This passion continued beyond her high school years which lead her to join the community musical theatre society, and take part in short courses at NIDA (acting techniques) and Actors Centre Australia (Next Step Program). Since joining ACA’s full-time program, Bethany has had the opportunity to explore a range of characters including Wendla, Spring Awakening (dir. Sarah Carradine); Cassandra, The Trojan Women (dir. Adam Cook); Carol, Oleanna (dir. Troy Harrison) and Catherine, A View From The Bridge (dir. Anthony Gooley).
Bethany would like to thank other tutors such as Jennifer West, Julia Cotton, Anthony Skuse, Genevieve Hegney and Pip Edwards for their ongoing wisdom and encouragement throughout her training. Upon graduating, Bethany is excited to delve into film, television and theatre with her new knowledge and experience. Furthermore, she hopes to continue using her background in dance to explore more physical aspects of performance in her career.
