Anthony grew up in Sydney in an Italo-Australian family, so his love for culture and the arts began at an early age. His talents for theatre and music were nurtured in high school, singing in a vocal ensemble for six years. As well as school productions, he also performed onstage with Packemin Productions at the Parramatta Riverside Theatre.
Vocal technique under Jennifer West has been a highlight of his time at ACA – performing excerpts from Dante’s La Divina Commedia in Italian was a great moment. Anthony’s ACA credits include a rollerblading ‘Puck’ in Adam Cook’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and ‘Medvedenko’ in The Seagull directed by Sarah Carradine.
Training under Julia Cotton and Anthony Skuse, he has become immersed in the world of variety performance, cabaret, burlesque and physical theatre. Anthony is an accomplished ‘all rounder’, skilled in devising and developing his own content, poetry, choreographing physical theatre and dance. He is a passionate and giving artist with an open mind and an appetite for storytelling.
