Yure Covich is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). For the theatre, Yure has performed in Permission To Spin at The Old Fitzroy Theatre and Home Invasion at The Old 505 for An Assorted Few. Other credits include Children of the Sun, The Illusion by Tony Kushner, Motortown at the Griffin Theatre, At That Moment Everything Changed at The Old Fitzroy Theatre, Woyzech for Belvoir St. Theatre. For film and TV, Yure has appeared in the ABC mini-series The Ropes, Rake, Event Zero, Wyrmwood, Red Dog, The Black Balloon, Around The Block, Feed, Thor-Love And Thunder, and various series credits are Nteflix’s God’s Favourite Idiot with Melissa McCarthy, Doctor Doctor, ABC’s Old School, Paper Giants—The Birth of Cleo, Panic at Rock Island, Home and Away, and All Saints.
Recently, Yure has also appeared in the ABC series The Messenger, The Last King of the Cross for Paramount Plus. He will also be appearing in Play Dirty starring Mark Wahlberg, and is set to perform in Sydney Theatre Company’s final show for 2024 — Sweat.
