Growing up in the small coastal town of Forster, Chelsea was first introduced to performing through dance at the age of two. This became a passion which she nurtured until she moved to Sydney at the age of eighteen to extend that love of performing into the world of acting. After getting the taste for theatre during high school she started her journey with the Stage & Screen diploma at NIDA, which led to a curiosity for more growth. Finding ACA has been the epitome of her love for the craft of both stage & screen in an environment that has felt like home. Chelsea is passionate about making work that inspires audiences and opens the door for conversations surrounding the work.
During her time at ACA Chelsea has been fortunate enough to play various roles including Juliet, Romeo & Juliet (dir. Craig Baldwin), Nora Helmer, A Doll’s House (dir. Francesca Savige), Rhonda, Women of Manhattan (dir. Kim Hardwick), Emilia, Othello (dir. Damien Ryan), Sonja, Speaking in Tongues (dir. Troy Harrison) and Maid, Iphigenia as part of The Iphigenia Quartet (dir. Claudia Barrie). After taking this time to work on and nurture her craft Chelsea is ready to tackle whatever the industry throws her way with confidence.
