Laura grew up in Greater Western Sydney, spending much of her younger years playing elite level sport before deciding to pursue her love for the arts. Before attending ACA, Laura trained at ATYP and the NIDA Actors Studio as well as being a member of the NSW Public Schools Drama Company. Some of her previous roles include Leah in DNA (Seymour Centre/ NSW Drama Company), Joanne in Bassett (ATYP/ Bittersweet Productions) and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (SUDS) as well as performing in The Sydney University Women’s Revue (Seymour Centre/ Sydney Comedy Festival) and The Third Age Project (Sport for Jove Theatre Company).
During her time at ACA Laura has loved exploring her range, with some of her roles including Medea in Medea (dir. Adam Cook), Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (NIDA/ACA Project), Mrs. Frail in Love for Love (dir. Anthony Skuse), Denise Savage in Savage in Limbo (dir. Troy Harrison), Dawn in Lobby Hero (dir. Anthony Gooley) and Feste in Twelfth Night (dir. Adam Cook). Laura is also a trained singer and keen writer, this year being accepted into ATYP’s National Writers Studio.
