Hanna grew up in Sydney with her Jewish South African family. She began singing and performing at a young age, where she discovered her passion for acting. During her time at Actor Centre Australia Hanna has appeared as Malvolio in Twelfth Night (dir. Adam Cook), Rachel in Appropriate (dir. Francesca Savige), Florinda/Moretta in The Rover (dir. Claudia Barry), and Daphna in Bad Jews (dir. Troy Harrison). She also had the opportunity to direct The Man Who, as part of the self-generated performance, These Premises Are Alarmed.
Hanna revels in the collaborative process of theatre making and has grown into a generous and exciting performer who always remains present and curious. Alongside acting she also writes and is looking forward to publishing a lyrical children’s book inspired by her travels through Europe.
